How might I create this cymbal patch in obsidian ?

I am trying to recreate this patch from that article.
This is as far as I got and not sure if its correct :
I set each of the three osc like this:
set to FM, set operator one modulating 2 (99). operator 1 output is zero and operator 2 is 99.
set the filter knob to 50/50 filter 1 and 2.
set key trk to 0.
for the filters :
1 set to bp, 2 set to hp. both key track zero.
for the 3 envs:
set the amp env to similar settings as AD-Env2 in the image.

An env for each of the two filters cutoff with settings as shown on AD-Env1 and AHD-Env1
I set the level of the envs to the knobs next to the inputs on the filters shown on the image.

it doesn't sound good.

any tips ?
also after general ideas how to make good cymbals in obsidian .
thanks

check factory preset "noise crash" - that is closest i was able to get a kind of "crash cymbal" sound... try tweak it using macro knobs

Cool not sure why I missed this one. its suitable for what I'm aiming for. I can get some more metallic sounds fiddling with the macro knobs. thanks

you should also try add more wet reverb and increase "low cut" value in reverb module - it adds more high frequemcy content and less bass punch content...
