Unfortunately NS1 will not be developed further. It is 32bit code and porting it to 64bit code, which is a requirement for iOS 12 would be a huge undertaking.

But the good news is that NS2 is much better at pretty much everything and you can import your TRG kits right into Slate.

  • Ok thank you very much for letting me know ( : I didn’t know about this at all

    No problem 🙂

  • And you can still download NS1 for Windows and Mac from the main website.

i still have a pre ios 11 ipad but if i had some spare cash i'd be curious to try ns1 on a windows surface? would it work? (the touch ui) windows afaik even if its a 64 bit version has 32 bit backwards compatibility built in for some things (or there is still 32 bit option by itself?). would it be the same as using ipad?

It wouldn’t have multitouch. But I’ve used it on a Wacom Cintiq and it worked well with the pen, so it might me ok, who knows 🙂

NS1 works on 64bit Windows 7 on my touch-screen equipped notebook, if that's any help.
