Hi @dendy Would you be able to step me through how I can assign a +-48 pitch bend range to midi notes coming into Obsidean? I need this to enable my Roli Lightblock’s pitch bend to work properly. And so far I haven’t worked out how to do this (pitchbend in Obsidean seems stuck at +-3). So any help much appreciated. Matt

Personally, when I use the term ‘live use’ or ‘playing an app live’ it’s often just me, on my own, jamming away and recording the output (and occasionally throwing it up to soundcloud). With NS2 this isn’t possible currently (on the same device). If it had IAA or Audiobus or worked as an AU or even had its own ‘record…

Yes, I do something similar in Gadget. Useful for quickly getting stems out of drums split into different types (at the end of the process). So this is a useful feature for me.

That’s a pretty nice, thick analog patch you shared. Thanks again. Particularly nice with some delay added, as you say.

Brilliant. Thanks so much @dendy

That’s interesting. Thanks. Would you be able to share the Obsidian preset(s)? I’ve been trying to get it to sound as Moogy as possible, but I think you’ve got further than me!

Oh, it’s worth adding too that VOLT does respond to automation when it’s hosted in AUM. You can bind midi CC’s to Volts parameters using AUMs ‘midi controls’ functionality and that works fine. Same is true of SpaceCraft when it’s in AUM.

That sounds great. And really useful. Thanks.

Thanks guys, for making the presets by the way... I just wanna have a go on them!

How are people installing these patches? When I try to install both the @kleptolia bassypants zip and the @nkdvkng (installing the zip from dropbox direct from inside Osbsian (Manage>import) it keeps telling me 'No Patches Imported - The zip file did not contain any Obsidian patches.' Anyone else getting this issue? Am I…

@StevePAL - I too would like to say that i'm loving these tutorial videos... So good. I particularly like the more sound design/advanced ones like the one you did on the FM Osc and the one on physical modelling. I'd love more in this vein - tricks on how to really dig into Obsidian. Can't wait for the next one...
