Old school then? Sounds good. I've been into angular for a few years now, so typescript is what I use everyday. And when I look at swift coding, it talks to me naturally. I need to get into it closer though, cause so far I have only used Ojective-C when I was making ios apps years ago. Swift looks interesting and fast.

There is nothing good or bad to hear about it really. If you use typescript or javascript as a developer, swift is better to use cause it's faster to program and it doesn't have the message passing grammar Objective-C has. But in the end, the compiler gives exactly the same data to the machine. So performance wise, it…

Yeah as it's a 6 years project, I guess they didn't have the time to move to Swift.

I think Dan Worrall explains it in a fabfilter tutorial video. Even though the mixing app doesn't show clipping when played, you have to give a little room anyway cause the final audio processing tends to overreach for higher DBs and some professional tools exists to make sure it won't happen like Pro L2.

Thanks. Just figured out both are possible as you can mix down solo tracks only if you want. It will depend on the project I guess. But for some instances, I am sure I will want to use Pro R for example.

I bought it and it has really good sounds, deep synth pads, cringy and punchy guitars and lots of good basses. The main interesting thing I guess is the fact as they are presets, we can see how it's done and iterate for more specific use in our workflow. A good buy indeed.

Yeah +1. I was kind of surprised it wasn't there in the first place.

Thanks. I am actually interested in the industrial and atmosphere pack. I might get the first one and try it out over the weekend.

Thanks, I will look around on soundcloud and youtube to listen to more sounds before getting anything. The IAPs are quite pricey so I need to make a choice as to what to take.

Someone on the audiobus forum posted that the sounds in Obsidian are not so good compared to other more professional sounding apps. I am still on a fence to purchase anything for this synth. Waiting for some in depth reviews.
