This is epic bro! U could make a business of this. I’d buy one or 2 for sure
-
Ohhhh gooodness....of course I would stumble across more ‘list items’ 😂
-
And also I’m noticing there isn’t the ‘rec’ option in Audiobus for nanostudio 2 like I see for Cubasis and others...am I doing something wrong?
-
So is it possible to sync drums from beatmaker 3 for instance as the Audiobus input and go into NS2 as the output to record the midi? I’d like to try something where the two are tethered together to get the best of both worlds with NS2 sequencing and obsidian along with beatmaker 3’s note repeats and chromatic pads. So…

And another one: https://youtu.be/LAEkSV3zefw Sorry about the metronome volume, I'm gonna get it right going forward

Maybe one part of the solution in these kind of problems for NS2 is an AUv3 checklist in the settings similar to ‘logic pro’s’ where u can enable/disable any individual AU and root out the problem. I can’t speak to the save and crash issues etc etc, however, so I won’t. Just my .02

This sounds so epic! I gotta hear how it comes out! What is Beathawks deal with this? Most annoying issue ever! Before NS2 I was using Cubasis and spent like a week creating kits in BeatHawk, thinking I would have usable kits across all iOS hosts. It seemed smarter than settling for one DAW at the time, since each one at…

Thanks @dendy! I appreciate that Just did a quick edit in pixelmator....Maybe something like this can help solve it. Dedicated toggles for the delay beats, mutli-fx toggles, delay toggles, and reverb toggles. That would solve the need to rework the coding, design, or possible confusion of the knobs. And if anyone knows the…

Thanks for the kind words! i appreciate it! Hopefully some make it into the app one day
-
Hey @SlapHappy, @Stiksi @dendy are right on the money. QWERTY keyboard. It can't be overstated how big a deal this becomes if you're ever dealing with patch naming, copy/pasting etc. for anything more than a few at a time. Your hands will not win the battle. Its a real pain. It would also be epic if it was possible to hit…

Around 725MB .Zipped and 875MB unpacked (what it shows on desktop). I try to keep the sizes down but I’m constantly torn between making the best sounding/useful/value kit possible for everyone and scaling down to consider the sizes, which I know are so much important on iOS (due to file handling) than desktop.
-
Lots of expresso shots and few all nighters lol. Thanks so much for the positive feedback and kind words!
-
Thanks so much I appreciate that!
-
Here’s a video overview I did outlining the kit, any feedback from the blip community on your thoughts would be very greatly appreciated! Thanks! NanoStudio 2 Trap Drum Kit! A Quick Introduction: https://youtu.be/BDZZ12O4KbM
-
Yes, exactly. Basically like an MPC or how Beatmaker 3 implements it
-
Nice! You inspired me on your last post about patch storage so I also just uploaded some patches/kits, I think this is so great for NanoStudio 2! I bet we can be the leading sampler/synth patch database on iOS!
-
I don’t your workflow and budget but I’ll be honest on my thoughts for me. Even tho Auria is a mixing/songmaking (audio recording) powerhouse I really enjoy lightly mixing my beats in NS2 and just bouncing them out. It helps me work fast and grind out multiple tracks (beats/instrumentals) a day when I’m in a groove. So I…
-
What’s ur thoughts on it vs Fabfilter if u had to pick one. I know it’s a huge price difference but I’m just curious. Do u know if it is ‘transparent’ or more ‘character’/‘colored’?
-
I have Pro r on desktop and Auria but haven’t side by side with the auv3 yet. I will say this, NS2 internal plug ins are pretty nice and can mostly get you there, but if I were to buy 3rd party supplements they would be Pro-R, Pro-L, Pro-MB and I could probably manage with the rest being stock NS2 for beatmaking. I’d…
-
I’m in the same boat as you. I own them on desktop, Auria, and soon as an auv3. Im almost sure (in my head) that your mileage will be further inside of Auria because they aren’t constrained by auv3 memory limitations but I haven’t personally tested it.
-
This is a cool listen, I especially like the source of inspiration for u, turning a dream into a soundscape!
-
This news made my day. It’s nice to see iOS getting such great assets for us producers. I’ll be able to mix in NS2 without needing to drop into Auria Pro just as @jwmmakerofmusic mentioned. Now I just need audio tracks and my life will be set ;)
-
Agreed! And please let the presets made in it be compatible with the iPad and iPhone versions. I think this would be huge
-
Thanks. Yes i agree and as soon as I can find a free moment I definitely will do that! I know that It’s much needed I hope to get those things worked out soon, but in the meantime here’s a few vlog videos and beats I’ve made using it that I hope gives the general idea of it: https://youtu.be/o1Yp3KfroQk…
-
Hey @dendy thanks for the mention! I just responded to @itsinthemusiq on YouTube but wanted to post here also in case anyone else has the same question or its seen here instead of there first: “Thanks for reaching out and I’ll try my best to help you on your NS2 trap mission. I have all my 808’s tuned and named based on…
-
Thanks so much for the support and feedback everyone! I really appreciate it!
-
Thank u!
-
Thanks y’all I love the support! I just uploaded another one here: https://youtu.be/zgeUqxhQoYI I hope to eventually get a better format for these videos when I can get the time. I definitely think NS2 is a powerhouse, especially with the right samples/sounds for the genre!
-
Thanks for this @richardyot those handclaps helped me in this creation https://youtu.be/bcfbauKWNVo

Agreed
