Ok I just tried it out as a midi AU in NS2. Even though we can’t yet record it, It seems to simulate MPE like a roli seaboard would. It isn’t as ‘dramatic’ to the glides and slides as a seaboard but maybe the settings can make it more so. I tested it with both MPE and non MPE Auv3’s. I will say this, once NS2 can record…

I agree with all the above. This is a really nice accomplishment for iOS. Auto trimming at the beginning of the sample would be nice so there’s no dead silence. @drez I think You'll be fine. You can sample every key on 3 different velocities easily. Until you're in a few 10's of GB's, obsidian will roll smoothly, assuming you aren't near the iPads capacity for storage, and even then, the loading will have maybe a 1 second lag.
