  • I'm really confused as to what you're trying to do. It might help if you describe exactly what you're sending the midi CC from and what you want to send it to. Starting a Network MIDI session from the Mac isn't going to help anything unless you're trying to send the midi CC's from the Mac or from another device that is…
  • You can rest a little bit easier on that point. Apple only said apps would be "removed from sale" not that they would be completely removed. There's a difference. Apps that are simply removed from sale can no longer be purchased, but they remain accessible to you in your purchased items. You would still be able to install…
  • You can't send the CC's directly to the AUv3. What you have to do is attach the AUv3 parameter to one of the eight macro knobs, then midi-learn from the controller to the macro knobs. This only works for instruments and not for FX unfortunately. If you're already doing that and the problem is just that MIDI Learn for the…
  • I don't know if it'll be any help, but here's an older thread where sample-rate is talked about in detail... https://www.blipinteractive.co.uk/community/discussion/1689/change-sample-rate-on-iphone
  • This place used to be a great source of info on Romanian exotic massage services, and now all we get is solutions for making music on iOS. I miss the good old days.
  • You'd probably be better off exporting the mix down then re-pitching it using an audio editor with a good time/pitch stretch algorithm. The quality of a realtime pitch shift plugin is unlikely to be great, though for such a small correction might not be too terrible. No plugin is going to get you into true resonance with…
  • I just stopped by to say thanks for whatever it is that has nuked the SPAM! Hopefully that will help encourage more activity here. B)
  • Thanks for the cleanup @SlapHappy - it must be a tedious job. And now ... it appears the spammers are embedding comments into existing threads as well. :/
  • Try another browser or device @tja. I'll bet it has something to do with ad blockers, other plugins, or cookie settings.
  • Nice one @SlapHappy. Thanks for cleaning things up.
  • Unfortunately these are simply a missing features. There's no way around these at this time.
  • I took a quick look at the registration page. There's only the most simple single-click captcha there. Probably if someone took the time to improve the captcha process, it might help bring things under control. I mean, even the Intua "ghost-town" forum has very little spam.
  • The developer doesn't frequent the forum. There are two mods that I know of. They drop by sporadically and clean things up. The spam comes back within a day or two. I used to PM @Stiksi and @dendy over on the Audiobus forum when it would happen and usually that would trigger a cleanup within a few days. But as the spam has…
  • It's a great model, and hopefully will work out well for Michael. There's no way of assuming the same would work for NanoStudio 2. It all depends on the size of the customer base and also would require the ability to dedicate 12 months of development time to produce updates worth people buying into. That's not something…
  • Unfortunately Audiobus 3 isn't going to help you with this. You need something with a recorder and Audiobus 3 doesn't have one. Do you have AudioShare? That is one possibility, though not as good as AUM.
  • Another thread on this? You gotta be kidding me.
  • If you have AUM or some other host that you can load Gadget (and optionally NS2) into, you can still record the audio out. I posted on one of the other threads about this.
  • @Luke Do you have AUM and know a little bit about how to use it? If so, then you can host NS2 and Gadget in AUM, then use AUM to record Gadget's output to an audio file. You can also record NS2's output if you like by arming the "REC" button there too. You can also record a file with both NS2 and Gadget output combined
  • Check a few of the other half-dozen threads you've started on the same subject. I suggest you pick one to continue with if you need further help.
  • This isn't a bug it's expected behavior. Gadget isn't running "inside" NS2, it's running separately alongside it. The sound never enters NS2 to be rendered to audio. There's no way you can get that audio to render in NS2. You have started way too many threads on this one issue. Maybe pick ONE and edit the thread title to…
  • It appears from other threads you already found some answers. Starting up multiple threads like this is really confusing things. Best to stick to just one.
  • From other threads it looks like you've found some answers for this.
  • You can't set up Gadget 2 in NanoStudio 2. It appears from other threads you've figured out how to make it work alongside NS2 by now. Unfortunately you can't go much beyond that. There are some options where you could save Gadget's output to audio files, but none of them are particularly straightforward. It'd be best if…
  • Mix it down in Gadget? That makes sense. Gadget only mixes down based on notes in its internal sequencer. It has no way of mixing down based on external midi. The only way you could get a mix down is if you record the midi coming from NS2 into Gadget's sequencer. Exporting a midi file from NS2 and importing that in Gadget…
  • Maybe provide a little more detail about what you've tried? The process should be: Long-press the + button at the bottom-left of the track view to bring up the menu. Select Add AU Instrument Track. Double-tap the track header. You should then see Bass 808 displayed on the left. Select it and then hit the piano icon at the…
  • Just to clarify in advance - because every time "ghost notes" are mentioned, people get confused between what is meant and "ghost notes" as in quick and light notes before and after a drum hit. Unless I'm wrong, I think what you're referring to @SLPGroundSoundMusic is the ability to display notes from another track dimmed…
  • Which audio units? Are there error messages? Or just no sound? Or what?
  • Sorry, NS2 doesn't support automation of AUFx parameters. There's a sort-of workaround, but I don't think I'd bother with it myself. https://www.blipinteractive.co.uk/community/index.php?p=/discussion/1912/hacky-workaround-for-allowing-aufx-automation
  • +1 The custom internal keyboard looks nice but brings with it a lot of functionality tradeoffs. At some point it would be very nice to have the keyboard routines leverage the built-in iOS libraries. Not a show-stopper, but would be nice, and I think might even make the app easier to maintain in the future. P.S. I love NS2.…
