  • Make sure that your audio tracks are sub-tracks of Main Mix. Notice in the screenshot below how on the far left the tracks are indented beneath the light blue of the Main Mix track. This shows that they are sub-tracks. Yours probably look like …

  • Thanks @Stanley_V - that's what I was trying to explain earlier. I use this workaround often. I find it has advantages over using MidiFlow. @drcongo - you mentioned using MidiFlow already but that it worked badly. Now I'm wondering if maybe Glitc…
  • @drcongo said: Hmmmm. There is no background audio setting in GlitchClip as it doesn’t do audio at all, it does stay open in the background though, and I can successfully send it messages on its own virtual MIDI interface or Network Session 1 fro…
  • Network Session is a specialized and tricky thing. Most apps list it - few actually work with it without an app that does support it facilitating the connection. (MidiFlow doesn't work with it. MidiFire does). Best just to ignore Network Session tho…
  • You need to enable Background Audio (BKG Audio) in GlitchBreaks to get the virtual port to show in NS2. I think that's all you'll need.
  • @9ine6ix said: Does any of the in app packs include like a rock overdrive/distortion guitar sound? Industrial 1 has some good ones. 👍🏼

  • Someone should do a Kickstarter for the worlds first hardware emulation of a retro iOS synth.
  • If both devices are Bluetooth LE capable you don't need midimittr any more, you can connect through the Bluetooth midi device dialog.
  • Any information I've shared in this thread is just taken from information in other threads. I'm simply summarizing here.

  • No, I have no information at all. The developer no longer makes promises, probably because of people then complaining when those dates are missed. That was my point. If you're not satisfied with NS2 as-is then you are using the wrong software. Au…

  • I forgot to mention ... Audio Tracks is expected to be an In-App-Purchase (IAP) ... which is a good thing IMO.

  • Great - I'm glad it was helpful. My only suggestion would be to accept NS2 for what it is now so you don't get frustrated if audio tracks don't come for quite some time. The development timeline on this one is slow (but steady and super high qual…

  • Not dumb at all. Unfortunately, the answer is "no" ... at least not in the traditional sense that most people think of. There are no audio tracks yet, so you can't just lay down audio into the timeline and arrange it there. You can record into eith…

  • Are you playing with the Bassalicious 2 app keyboard or with the NS2 keyboard? NS2 doesn't record MIDI out from AU plugins, so you'll need to use the NS2 keyboard, not the app keyboard.
  • Hi @TakkAtakk , as I test I created a fresh project with 27 Slate instances each with one pattern and each with a different kit loaded. I couldn't replicate the problem with that approach, so there must be some other variable. It does seem getting t…
  • This does not sound like a problem that warrants or will be helped by reinstalling. If no less drastic measures result in an answer, maybe, but seems like a "ready, fire, aim..." kind of approach. If you have another device available, trying to l…
  • Good troubleshooting going on here. Since all the instances can play if they're added after loading the project it doesn't seem like a ram issue. It seems like there could well be an initialization bug when loading projects. One thing you coul…
  • Wow. Just amazing! Thanks, I really enjoyed that.
  • Hey @dendy, Textastic with -ki's Mozaic Support for Code Text Editors is great for Mozaic scripts and for all iOS code editing. There's an inexpensive Mac version as well. With iCloud integration, it's a super useful combination. -ki's stuff can …
  • Zenbeats and NS2 sync tempo pretty well over Link. Not perfectly when there are time changes, but OK. The problem is you can't input or output from Zenbeats to anything else because it can't be loaded into Audiobus or other IAA hosts. So, you can h…
  • It’s working fine for me. Are you sure you have background audio enabled in NS2?
  • @soundtemple said: Also, NS doest seem to recognise my bluetooth keyboard anywhere. Is that intentional? More of an oversight than intentional if I remember correctly. I think it was put on the list of features to eventually add though.
  • @BjørnFelle said: Thanks man. Well, hardware-wise it worked. The USB MIDI interface is able to send program change commands to the BOSS pedal. However, I can't get it to work in mfxConvert. I used a different app, just called "program changer" an…
  • Interesting. I wasn't able to get that to work. I'm glad you did. As far as a software solution goes if that doesn't work, you can always add mfxConvert to another host like Audiobus, AUM, or ApeMatrix, then send the midi out there, through mfxCo…
  • Unfortunately, NS2 doesn't support Program Change. I tried adding mfxConvert as a MIDI AU FX to convert a cc value to PC value, but couldn't get that to work inside NS2. You could, however use something hosted externally to convert a note or CC t…
  • @WrongSat - oops sorry, I think maybe you’re right. Envolver can send out midi notes. I misunderstood how it works from the confusing labeling of the settings.
  • @WrongSat said: FAC Envolver looks really good, many thanks. I think the envelope is able to transmit midi notes too. No, I don't think the envelope can transmit midi notes. It can be triggered by midi notes, but only outputs MIDI CC as f…
  • FAC Envolver comes to mind. It sends out midi based on incoming audio. Unfortunately, it only sends out MIDI CC's, not notes. So you'd have to employ a second plugin such as mfxConvert or a Streambyter or Mozaic script to change that to notes. Too m…
  • Yes. This is something I requested long ago. It would be great to have immediate, beat, measure(s), and region quantize options. Number of repeats would be nice too. If you could jump between such regions with a midi controller it would be fantas…
  • Adding Obsidian by default is just too Apple-like. I don't like anyone assuming what I want to do by default. It seems arrogant IMO. +1 for popup menu by default. It will be good exercise for @Dendy to have to do an extra tap for each track. He'l…
