  • Here is the missing part. https://www.dropbox.com/s/jhw2dj7r57976ie/NS2%20user%20manual%20%28instruments%29.pdf?dl=0 If you want to go about the whole process, what I do is, I open every link of the online manual one by one on iPad, press the share button and open in books. This add a pdf copy of the webpage to the books…
  • Well, that was really sad. Entirely my mistake because although the instruments were hot linked to other parts, I was under the impression they were at the same (web)page as the effect section was. Really sorry man, considering the amount of artwork you’ve put in there. Unfortunately at the moment, I can’t see other action…
  • 😱 Quite possibly you got the first ever printed NS2 manual in the world! 😄 👍👍👍
  • To be honest it wasn’t as simple as i described it and left the details out because would be quite tedious not only to do it but also to read about it as well, with all the hurdles iOS brings along the process. 😅 Glad it helped. 😉
  • https://www.dropbox.com/s/tl2d0stm8cpujnd/Nanostudio%202%20User%20manual.pdf?dl=0 CAUTION!. The “instruments part” is missing and can be found a few posts bellow. Made using the online version and an online pdf combiner site so, don’t expect hotlinking chapters and sections but it is something anyway. 😜
  • Nah... Dendy is your one stop to Online Interactive Manual Clarification. It’s just he has and a life to live so he might not be around all the time.
  • Hi and welcome. If you loaded a factory patch and tried to initialize every sector in obsidian by hand, you may forgot a few more bits. You can initialize a patch by going in the patch list, press the hamburger button at the topmost right corner, under record. This will initialize all sections, a few you may forgot could…
  • Definitely not worth buying a ps4 just for that. :) I find entertaining this kind of (games-platforms) because they either push your limits to think what it’s possible with the tools rewarding you with the satisfaction from the sense of achievement when you get there, die trying or just give up. :D Actually... I bought my…
  • For a start I must say, considering company’s previous record, there is no chance this will make it to PC so you can stop reading now. =) Obviously you can make music on a much easier, friendly and professional environment than a PS4. It’s just music creation didn’t overlooked in favor of other aspects. I’m afraid it’s too…
  • Nice dreamy textures, full of echo and minus the opera (of which admittedly I am not a fan). So it’s a plus for me. =)
  • Hey! Glad to hear. Clean, catchy and mainstream. Had to open NS and find them to ensure =) they were the same because of the bad sound quality it suffers from compression.
  • For a moment I thought I’ve found a soulmate. Blimey. :p
  • After some long though, does anyone else believe that we need and a sample retrigger feature at the patchbay? I kinda do... :s
  • Following the tradition of this month useless patches, I made 3 more in the original post containing and some other vechicles. I’ll leave the here as well, just in case. :p https://www.dropbox.com/s/6lkxy79bo9c9p9x/Mini%20vechicle%20doppler%20pack.zip?dl=0
  • Fingers crossed, as the sampler oscillator is initially set in loop mode. :#
  • Both of those behaviors may likely occur when the sample is in one shot mode. Amp envelope defines the volume of a currently playing oscillator, so if the sample is not playing anymore, because it reached the end, no sound will obviously produced. The same applies for the second issue. If the sample reaches the end, the…
  • =) With so many complainers, I don’t wonder why it took Matt so much time. J/k :p
  • I’ll admit I am more fan of MotoGP but since it’s harder to reproduce motorbike sounds, especially with fewer cylinders, that patch of yours I’d take a guess and presume it was a V2?... 180º crankshaft even... lol. Its quite tough nonetheless. That’s why I settled for the easier Formula sound. ;) In another note that comb…
  • A silly, probably useless one, to celebrate the start of the 2019 F1 season! https://www.dropbox.com/s/6lkxy79bo9c9p9x/Mini%20vechicle%20doppler%20pack.zip?dl=0 As for the previous, glad if they are of any use. B) Updated with 3 more vehicles. :p
  • Welcome! Hopefully you’ll enjoy your stay and Dendy’s genuine, unprovocative, sincere, enthusiastic altruism. Took me half an hour to look at the dictionary and find the most elegant words to describe his character, but he deserves it. ;)
  • !!! I didn’t know such a word existed! Actually, top to bottom describes my wife! I would even go a step further and call her “Argumentalist”. I seriously starting to wonder if she visit AB forums too... On topic, I believe there is not much to prove to anyone. NS is and will forever be the most efficient iOS daw ever. And…
  • It’s not a feature or a bug. Possibly just an inconsistency. In Obsidian the “wavetable” option on the oscillators seems to be the only, if you rule out this one, section where the “slide up-down” does not change the current setting. I mean by pressing the name of the wave and sliding your finger up or down has no effect…
  • As I get it, or maybe don’t, I guess “reloop” means more knobs as a visual representation. Like a more complete/advanced “mixer channel strip”. I believe removing the pan and adding EQ knobs will cause a massive riot amongst users, possibly meaner than that about the sustain pedal. Ok, that was just an imaginative approach…
  • What Dendy “The NSM*” said. *NanoStudio Master.
  • I had a go myself on this too like what “Stiksi said” but I hit a limitation. The key track spreads across all the key spectrum (C-2 to C8+) and there is no way ( I can see) to narrow the key range. If it was possible to select the range limits where the key track applies, it could be a breeze to map slices from a sample…
  • I thought this was a compliment until I went to YouTube and listen to some DX 27 examples. Haha. Truth is if it weren’t for Obsidians extra features, they would sound that bland if not worse. ;)
  • Thank you all :) It was just random experiments. After all you can’t go wrong with FM. Ok, you can but strap a filter and a few FX and the outcome can be interesting. That FM Universe was no exception. Started by just fiddling with the noise parameters and then I knew it can become close to Korg’s own M1 Universe. But it…
  • You may aware of a trend that goes like creating a pun by combining a month’s name with a task you are willing to focus on that month like say “Jamuary” if you are a musician and you swear you will bleed Jaming all January, “Inktober” if you are an artist and will draw only with a pen all the October or “Januhairy” if...…
