I had korvpressor on a couple channels but it was starting to hang on load and save (like that was the plugin name it was trying to load and hanging) so I ripped it out. To be honest, it could have been grind the whole time, but was just pulling stuff out to get it to work. Grind...I shake my fist at thee! The hoops I’ve…

Yeah man! Been taking me way to long to get a hold of this mix. Too many channels haha. My good friend is making an artwork for it, so I’m waiting on him to finish that up then I’ll throw it up on SoundCloud so it can smash all the frequencies I’ve slaved over  the 96khz/32bit wav files sound so much better. I might…

To make sure we’re on the same page here, I do many (so very many) iterations. My writing process is: * Empty slate. No premade template, just one channel. * I just start with the first thing that comes to my hands whether it’s drums, bass, lead, pad, etc. * I start building around this thing, but I don’t mix anything…

The fun part of mastering inside of NS2 on a bigger tune  BUT that’s got some hefty plugins on the master chain (fabfilter limiter at 32x over sampling haha, multiband at 4x, and grind is a beast and I wouldn’t use it but it’s basically part of this one drum tracks entire sound, so I deal with it) and shedloads of…

It’s the most flexible setup in all of iOS, imho. You can automate all those as well. It’s also how you do sidechaining when you want multiple sources as your trigger. You can send them all to one master side chain source.

I cheated a bit and put a filter after it

Excellent work, Matt!!! Now I have no excuse to make music anywhere I’m sitting
-
Thanks for signing up on the forum just to say that

Yet another banger @Cray23! Your mixes are exceptional and your swing amount is spot on. All the sound choices and awesome. The only problem I have is that they all need to be on Spotify so I can listen to them on my run. Or sell it on bandcamp so I can throw cash your way. Whatever. Great stuff!

@fingertwister fabulous mix. That flanger is perfect! Not to much, just right to make it noticeable and not make it a novelty effect. Ambient composers really know how to use space as a tool to make everything noticeable, like the reverb tails are clear as day. Fantastic work and welcome to the community

@anickt such a great job. I envy tour ability to create a nice cohesive theme throughout. KUDOS!
-
Very nice work @Den_K that piano work is really nice. Really tight drum programming and the neuro bass is great! Exceptional first effort :+1: hope you are enjoying NS2
-
Jeez @Cray23 yet another freaking banger! I am soooo pickin up what you are throwing down. Awesome face kicker!

I read your original post. Dendy answered it earlier. And I’ve read your subsequent conjecture about the developer needing to respond. Dendy just answered that succinctly so I won’t need to respond. You should have all the info you’ve asked about from the folks that bring the grain to the horses mouth  I’m excited…

Conjecture from “mods”? Dendy has been beta testing NS2 for years and so have most if not all of the mods. I’m pretty certain they are in the know  Sorry but you can’t say one is a lament and not the other. Your question has been asked as many times as it’s been answered. If you are truly fully willing to wait due to…

If the same repetitive lament about audio tracks keep getting asked and the same repetitive lament of an answer hasn’t changed, then why do people keep asking? Either they are new and don’t know why the delay, or they don’t like the answer, so they keep asking the question.

 Look harder

@Tales_from_within very well done! Excellent sound choices and chord structure. 2:45 the delays of the previous chord on top of the last one of the measure is so cool. It’s small but it’s really cool before that bass comes in. Great track!

@Stanley_V 🤯 That is nuts!!! Soooo much going on. Is that really 3 iPads?!?

First off... my music has to suck less. 😜

Yeah I was actually supporting you! I think it’s a great idea. “mute” + pad has my vote :+1:
-
On the Push, you can hit a “select” button (I think that’s the button, I’ve got it in muscle memory) and you tap the pad and it selects without playing it. Very handy when programming in its step mode live.

The absolute paths from document root is key. That has bit me in my own work life. Having to go fix 100 million paths in xml was...not fun :)
-
It works! Thank you so much. Time to study!

@Cray23 I swear it’s like I’m listening to prodigy stuff I’ve never heard before every time. That is so freaking tight! I know it’s kinda random, but at around :50 when the 303 comes in, the groove of the synchopation between the 303 and the rest of the track really wagged my tail! Your timing is impeccable on everything.…

Agreed. I can’t wait for the iPhone version.
-
Nice chill tune @UncleBen with a fantastic mix. The reverb is perfect and everything has its place in the mix. Excellent!
-
What about using the desktop version?
-
@dendy is this area going to be vertical scrolling on the iPhone version?
