Mayhaps NS2 can one day get some such direct to Obsidian thingy?

I have been using Renoise as a VST sound module for NS2 and it has handy multi-sampling which is super nice. If you are of the scripting bent there may be some ways to automate the workflow somewhat (no specific ideas).

Thanks Will :)

Thanks Dendy! That is the sort of track too where the next step would be to render out some of those tracks and then approach it 'by hand' slicing bits, using faders, EQing and dynamics on individual clips etc. to smooth things out more and reduce the jarring bits. It would be hard to achieve that with just a single…

Cool, yah when Samplitude first came out on PC in the 90s (it/I started on Amiga) it seemed to be informally billed as being like a Protools that didn't need specific audio hardware. It seemed to be one of the first hard drive based multi-track audio recorder/editors that worked on consumer sound cards. It was hard not to…

It doesn't clearly illustrate note repeat (although it is in there) but a very brief proof of concept lives here... https://www.blipinteractive.co.uk/community/index.php?p=/discussion/474/krft-into-ns2-is-awesome#latest I just hit the NS2 editing stage this morning on this jam and I must say I am quite excited by the…

That is one thing I am liking with using KRFT into NS2 is the note repeat.

That is more or less what stuck with me first. I was taken in by audio chopping in the 90s and synths were just something to make audio out of rather than play ala Vangelis. These days I do mostly 'play keys/compose' simply because I spend most of my time on the ipad and that is what it is best at. As mentioned though BM3…

There are bits and pieces of BM3, Auria Pro, Cubasis, some of the other new ones that just don’t work well for me. ThisTrack, ThatTrack etc. Anywho, I will post this yet again... https://youtu.be/08RuCOCTVs0

Psychic!

I am not doing those things either but for me audio tracks and having a visual waveform are super sweet and efficient for sound design. For building kits for Slate and samples for Obsidian etc. They are also invaluable for me in the mixing / audio commitment stage where all midi is bounced out to audio and then it is…

Me Too!! I just feel like so much has settled down for me on iOS with lots of great stuff out now (AUs, sequencers, grooveboxes etc) and that good multitrack audio editing is all that remains. MMmm boyee, sure hope it nails it.

‘Audio engineers hate him.’ ;)

It teeters gracefuly between accessible and plain twisted. I try to do heavy thick stuff like this at times but never get the production to sound so smooth and controlled. Huge tip of my very jealous hat!
-
Woah! I love this!

“It is fun! Early tests indicate that the automation and everything records well. Have yet to do an extensive production session with editing and all that but even for exploring many macro parameters at once, dayum thats fun! Maybe NS2 could get its own internal macro macro screen if that makes sense.” -Audiogus (Audiobus…

Hey what do you know? Thanks for the tip!

With the prices they charge for data here they better give me a damn phone! ;)

I have a 4s. If i can upgrade for cheap/free my tune may change. :)

Oh hey... makes sense. :)

Oh hey... makes sense. :)

I always forget to do this, yes great tip!

I don’t want to start a war. How much for an iphone that is the equvilant of an ipad 5?
-
IPhone... meh...I want my audio tracks now, waaah! (There I said it)
-
That is the juice!
-
You can automate Stereo Filter in NS2 though which is handy.
-
I have a feeling it is a bug though and will be fixed... kind of an odd happy accident though!

Feature or FREQOWT? https://youtu.be/NoiXxbXieC8

If I put ProQ2 after Perforator it bounces EQ parameters around, hehe
