I would have been a great rock god, if only I had been a talented axe player - the women would have flocked to me I tell ya!
-
Interesting. That would be very helpful for me!
-
I’m old dude - haven’t got a clue what all these new found genres mean! In my day we had fast music and slow music - fast music we got all rowdy to, while slow music we snogged women to! ;) :p
-
Agree with this. The packs are really decent value and great starting points with some tweaks here and there. The genre names used may be off putting for some, but the sounds themselves are really able to be used in pretty much any genre.

Hi @LesT don’t listen to @kleptolia - giving away free mince pies is the road to popularity here....have fun :)
-
One other thing to keep in mind when using AU patches is that if you’ve just downloaded an app - some apps won’t show there patches in the AU, unless you open the stand alone first! Just for info :)
-
Some AU apps don’t show there patches to the host, that’s why some won’t show up in the patch selector. If this is the case, there is usually a place on the AUs own screen where you can change patches :)

And the lifts never work!
-
If the NS2 forums became the NS Tape recording forums, we would still be hassling the dev for more lol
-
Yes @rec is the winner :)
-
That’s the thing though, I went through about five iterations before I almost stumbled on the original sound. Emulating it again, has been the same for me, we get soooo close, but never spot on the mark. It was simple with my first ever synth as it came with templates that you put over the knobs and drew on where the knob…
-
Thanks to @rec for even getting us in the ballpark to begin with - saved us lazy guys some work there dude!

My first effort gets the starting sound a tad closer I believe, My second effort adds towards the velocity control of the distortion and I’ve added another…

Yep all the notes if I remember right are E3 C3 G2, then E3 C3 G3 Middle section is the bit that repeats E3 C3 twice before repeating those above. As I say, I’ve lost much of the original material and am trying to reproduce it to finally get all the other sections together then finish the piece. I used to have varies…

Only just got back on, was unable to post on here for a while - dodgy internet maybe. Will listen tomorrow as wife in bed now
-
Yeah I mistook the Auria Link for being Link, as I said, I’d never used Auria in that way, so was mistaken :)
-
Will spill the beans later :)
-
O yes that’s closer. Funny I was tweaking your original and it’s about slap bang in the middle of your two. This ones much more playable though.
-
Post the tweaked one too! Share!
-
Yep make love to that there iPad!
-
Your talking poo! =)
-
Prune juice has a nasty effect on me lol...won’t go into it any further than that! :3
-
Hey that’s not half bad! Definitely a sound I would use :)
-
Hey. No problems dude...just trying to do something technimalogical lol
-
Will do
-
Here’s an idea: Let’s get the white coats to take @Zupi to a safe place =) jk.
-
I would not recommend it now. I used to use Syntronik a lot, but there is one major problem with the app imo - there is no easy way to have an off app backup of all the sounds you make, so if you have to reload your app, all your time making those tweaks and sounds is for nothing!
-
Yeah it was one of my ‘work in progress’ things lol Yep it’s the synthy pianoish leadlike sounds marked at the points on the clip :p

As I said, didn’t read the rest of the opinions here, just stated my own. What question do you desire a yes or no answer to? If it’s ‘do you really want unlimited AU & AU fx automation’ then no - I simply don’t need that. So the question isn’t really that simple is it, because I would like some AUfx automation, even if it…

I’ve not read the whole thread. I’ve got used to having to set up the Macros now. Going through a process of setting up my most used AU instrument parameters to macros and then just adjust the odd one in individual circumstances. I can live with that. Would love to see the AU fx parameters have a row of macros too though…
