Obviously not speaking for the developer, but from assumptions I have made from other conversations that I have read on this forum & other ios-software related forums, I don’t think there will be a NanoStudio 3 in the future - not unless the developer has a massive life-changing cash influx that would maybe allow him the…

Yeah - Sunrizer is definitely not AUV3 on iPhone 😢
-
I would happily pay - they are excellent 👌 Just let me know how. Actually while we’re talking presets, anyone know if there are any more IAP soundpacks planned?

Your point about midi cc data - I’ve found I’m using Drambo more and more for creating my own effects, often replacing other AUv3 fx that I have purchased in the past in the process - I then use midi notes (mapped to midi cc’s within Drambo) to automate the parameters of these effects (by using the said mapped notes’…

To be honest the longer time has moved on the more workarounds I’ve found to the point where I miss neither. Ok, AUv3 FX automation would be great but with a bit of thought I’ve not had any scenario that wasn’t achievable in the end. With the help of 4Pocket’s Multitrack auv3 and Virsyn’s Audiolayer - plus Slate &…

Sorry - not got any info regarding the above but @giku : it’s great to see you here. Drambo is just utterly superb 👌 And the recent wavetable osc and wt effects update - wow! Just wow! Thank you for creating- and releasing - something so truly incredible. 🙌🙌🙌 Oh, while I’m at it - respect to Matt @"Blip Interactive" for…

I like that idea. Exact values are difficult- on iPhone at least.
-
@Stiksi - many thanks. Tbh, I’ve never used it.

Anyone?

The quickest way I’ve found is to insert an instance of Multitrack auv3 effect by 4Pockets after your reverb effect, set your track’s loop markers so as to be able to play your sound plus the full length of the reverb tail. Set Multitrack to “host sync” and record, then hit play in NS2. Multitrack will automatically start…
-
Yeah - that’s a good question. @dendy (or @"Blip Interactive"), do you know?
-
Multitrack isn’t a DAW - it’s an AUv3 effect that exists purely to provide audio tracks for DAWs where audio tracks aren’t implemented... like NS2 for example. You can record into it (although in NS2 not from external sources, only internally), it has some audio editing capabilities, and can import and export audiofiles…

Hi! I load a commercial track so that I can use it as a reference for when I’m making mixing - and (specifically) eq - decisions. I also use the same tracklane as a “guide” track so that I have a visual reference to the sections of my “song” (I don’t have “verse”, “chorus”, “middle8” sections). I do this by creating empty…
-
Hey - no problem, you’re very welcome 😊
-
I route all of my (song’s) tracks into the “Full Mix” group track for final eq/comp/limiting of the entire track. “Full Mix” is then routed directly to the “Main Mix” track (i.e. it bypasses the “Guide Track”). “Main Mix” has a spectrum analyser inserted only - i.e. no eq or compression or limiting. The “Guide Track”…

I use 4Pockets’ “Multitrack” as an AUv3 insert effect on an empty track exactly for this purpose. Ensure it is set to “Follow” and “Sync to host” and it will start playback at the correct point in your reference track no matter where on the NS2 timeline your playhead is.

Ha ha! Yeah - before the Alesis (and an Akai S950) we had a Fostex 4 track, a Boss Drm110 drum machine & a little Roland/Boss (I think) sampler pedal that could sample only 1 sample up to 2 seconds & you triggered the sample by stepping on the pedal. We had a lot of fun and experimentation with that pedal and 4 track,…

Mine’s long gone unfortunately. The ST had piggybacked memory if I remember as that was the only way to expand it. Yeah, having to learn the hard way to use ghost clips otherwise Cubase would run out of memory when my techno tunes got to the 6 minute mark... Previous to Cubase/Atari we were using an Alesis hardware…

Back in “the day” running (the then midi-only) Cubase on the Atari ST it was common practice to leave a number of blank bars at the beginning of an arrangement - the urban legend being that it allowed the midi clock to stabilise before the arrangement actually began. Force of habit means I’ve continued to do it to this…

Posted earlier today, plus push notification sent to devices that have them enabled: https://www.blipinteractive.co.uk/community/index.php?p=/discussion/1678/dont-update-to-ios-14-if-you-can-avoid-it#latest

So true.

Good to hear 👍
-
How is Matt? As mentioned in another thread I hope he’s ok.
-
Agreed 🤞🤞
-
Yeah - Cubasis has both audio tracks and Auv3FX modulation (as does Zen - although the workflow is to me counter intuitive to use it despite getting it on its recent free unlocked offer). I use Cubase on desktop and have been since the Atari ST days (triggering an Akai S950 as a rudimentary audio clip launcher and a…

Yeah - everyday I check the appstore for updates, with fingers crossed, held breath, etc... For me, audio tracks would be great but from a personal point of view I’m really waiting on Auv3 FX automation. And for my workflow, collapsing groups on the timeline (similar to how it works in the mixer) would be nice, as would…

I find Replicant 2 works perfectly in NS2 on iPhoneXR (although its UI is a little small).
