It does seem impressive. I’m still considering which notation app is best.

Everything seems pretty friendly here on this forum.
-
Is there a downloads section on the website? I didn’t see it.

Some cool tracks guys!

I’m hopeful that AudioBus will get a nice AU wrapper so iOS tech can move forward.
-
I’d guess that it would be an easy thing to overlook when you’re working on such a complex app and hoping the musical features are all working correctly. Might not have even thought about it.
-
Really nice video and I like the track too. I recognize some of the sounds, but I was hoping for a glimpse of the venerable old app.
-
I should remind muself to RRTFM. I didn’t see that either. Thanks Lee & Stiksi!

That sounds awesome! So how do you like Notion? I’ e seen it in the appstore, with some mixed reviews. It sounds great. How was the learning curve? The price with all IAPs is pretty significant, but if it works well that app could be a valuable tool.

iPhone version sounds super handy - great for mobile use, but I’m doing just fine with iPad version right now. Learning the app still, so I do that best when I’m at home and can focus.
-
You are right - not comparable. I’m using both internal & external. Sometimes more of one than the other, somtimes external keyboards. I haven’t noticed a pattern yet, but I think some AU are bigger CPU hogs than others. 6-7 AU + internal sounds seems to be working for me, but I probably am just doing simple things and not…

So it works now? Was it the pop up window’s options that were the thing?
-
I find I rarely check the CPU meter. Everything seems really stable. I’m impressed by that! Maybe CPU meter is a bigger issue on older iPads? Maybe there could be a user defined toggle for a floating CPU meter?
-
I was wondering the same thing @SlapHappy !! 😅😅
-
What tempo would the ritard equate to? Can you change the tempo of that section so that it plays normally?
-
At the top, tap the measures counter and you get a big pop open window. Then go to the left and you’ll see there are 2 tabs to this window: play arrow and record button. Tap record button to open up window for Quantize options. Hope that helps.

Good post! I tried many DAW apps but couldn’t find any I liked better than the original NanoStudio, ...until now! Great app!! I’m loving it. Audio Tracks will be nice whenever they come. I’m in no hurry. I hope Matt hets a well-deserved break. There’s plenty in NS2 for me.

Nice thoughts. Sound like you’re looking down the road a ways, which is good to do. It’s almost like the developers need to have a convention to agree on some standards that would allow them to to move AU & MIDI further, then tell Apple what they want - that’ll be the biggest hurdle.
