  • [Ref: v 1.5.1] ———- Update: About 20 minutes after I wrote to him today, Harry wrote back: “Hi King, just as a short note: will have a look at this problem. Seems that i could reproduce it. Best Regards Harry” ———- I’ll up…
  • "Penny for your thoughts?" "Hmm.." I'm glad Matt is able to hear the flanging! ... but it looks like Harry is going to have to hate someone.. "Hmmmmmmmmmmmm..........!!!" Note to self, ... "wait for the horse to speak". ✌️ King
  • @Blip Interactive said: The two sided job was more to do with some limitations on the size of buffers that VirSyn plugins can handle - I didn't do anything for the key sync issue. I also noticed flanging on the the first note (after the se…
  • “it was two side job” Excellent!!! (makes sense) ———- I can wait.. Saves me writing an email too.. Cheers King
  • Post restart: Same thing. The first note plays straight, (excluding flange) but if I record sliding my finger up n down the keyboard they are out of sync on playback, opposite to what it was pre-update.. ———- Well I can resize in AUM.. …
  • Yeah new project and it’s still messing around. Recorded fine I my old project, (apart from flanging) but not in a new project. Notes skipping etc.. Hmm.. Let me restart my pad.. If not I’ll just get in touch with Virsyn.. King
  • In NS2, it works now, (‘somewhat’). Had a few (what sounds like flanging) at the start, but after recording a new event sync plays nice, until it loops, and you hear the flange. Maybe it was the old test recordings/project I did, that are now out…
  • Was just thinking I’m gonna update now anyway, as I wouldn’t miss the resizing as it wasn’t there before. And I would only use that feature in AUM (maybe Auria). Here goes.. King
  • “If it’s not soon enough, I’ll contact Harry.” Well today is soon enough! Update is in the Store, but getting reports about crashing “Pro 12.9”, so I’ll wait for more info on other iPads. Waited this long, so... Peace! King Added: …
  • @Blip Interactive said: An update on this - it's taken some time as I've been working with the developer of Reslice (who's a busy man!) and he's successfully got to the bottom of the problem with key sync. He's given me a beta version of Reslice…
  • @tom_tm said: This is now annoying me. Me and my big fat gob! It's probably me who has the untrained ear (I could never beat match- which is why I never made a techno DJ). Listen to nothing but white noise for an hour and you'll hear everything a…
  • @Blip Interactive said: OK thanks guys. I'm going to demote this from 'completely screwed' (because I didn't know about Egoist's host sync options!) to 'possible minor issue'. I still haven't fully solved the sync issue with Reslice as I'm wait…
  • Ha, Well I can only use what I have. Would Love an iPad Pro to test it with, but if it can’t fit in my pocket, I don’t want it! Anyway my input on this subject is done. (Investigated enough now). Time for creating. (And please don’t c…
  • @tom_tm said: ... I suspect this is probably the fault of the plugin and not Nanostudio, ... Remember! AUM and BM3 are both playing fine! See yah! King
  • @dendy said: I’ll see what I can do to make it easier for you Newbies.. Too many apps, makes, too many choices, makes less music (for me). Yeah same for me ! Less is more :-) After beta phase …
  • @tom_tm said: I can hear it. The bass drum (soft) over time drifts very slightly lagging slightly behind the downbeat. It may be better to re-record it without the metronome on. I suspect this is probably the fault of the plugin and not Nanostudi…
  • I’ll see what I can do to make it easier for you Newbies.. But not just yet.. ———- “You are very committed” ... Ironically, (as I stated in an earlier post), I only re-downloaded egoist to see what the AUv3 version was like. If it wasn’t …
  • Btw, this “Listen to the kick stutter effect” is part of the programmed track. There are two kicks in the track, a heavy one used from BEAT. and a lighter one used in the sample. Listen to the lighter one! King
  • And yes, I will call you crazy! ———- Cheers for taking a look though guys! King
  • Haha! And I thought you guys were musicians, with a keen, highly developed ear. (Kidding) Don’t worry, somebody will come along who will here the issue.. King
  • Ok here’s a vid link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/odkgcrnoatm0chk/IMG_2720.TRIM.MOV?dl=0 Listen to the kick stutter effect 1,2,3,4 (or 1,1,1,1) on “PART” 2 of Egoist Sequencer. Also don’t focus too much on the visual (running bar) in the vid,…
  • May have to do a short vid.. not today, but if needed? Never posted one before, but I’d just send a drop box link. (Unless anyone can confirm (saving me time) .. ) King
  • @Blip Interactive said: If “Clock Source” is set to 'Internal' Egoist won’t play/start via the host transport, it will only start by pressing it’s own play button. I'm probably being stupid but isn't that how it's meant to …
  • @Blip Interactive said: Thanks, was half thinking of doing that myself. Then I thought no, that's proper OCD right there Haha, I know, I know! I tell you what though, I know you have it, because there is a LOT of perfection in NanoSt…
  • @Blip Interactive said: I still can't get Reslice to play ball even with the changes I've made. It isn't happy when NanoStudio moves the song position to exactly to the start of the next note it should play (either via a user interaction, when t…
  • @Blip Interactive said: So can we put this down to operator error and close this thread down, or do people still feel there are issues with Egoist in NanoStudio? Nah! Definitely not operator error! If “Clock Source” is set to 'Inte…
  • For me: Mini 2. King
  • @dendy said: ... - but in NS you hear weird mess of various slices and arpeggiators internal playheads are completely at wrong position Yeah, technical term is: “scrajumbled”. ©️ Cheers King
  • @Blip Interactive said: Hmm, so one person seems to have it working in BM3 and the other doesn't. OK, I'll first have a go at fixing the bit which looks suspicious and if that fails then I suggest we simply go down the route of trolling ea…
