Thanks Will and anickt, I may just do another pass at them now that I got some FAB magic to play with. :)
-
Thanks peeps! Glad to hear.
-
Thanks, glad you like! :). Yah the commute is love / hate. Heh I would prefer none of course but the forced discipline (and not paying for a data plan) helps keep me productive at least.
-
Thanks Arpseechord, glad you gave it a listen! I did see this as a sketch and was sitting on it for the past couple months hoping to finish it off once audio tracks are in. I like to bounce out just audio at a certain point and mix and edit as wav clips with pitching and time-stretching of audio etc, as well as do overdubs…
-
@Arpseechord @anickt Ok tis up :) Not super happy with the mix but I mostly did it on the train and for the life of me could not ‘fix’ it at home in relative quiet. Anyway, excuses excuses!
-
Gotta say it is pretty gnarly using NS1 on the olde 4S with just one hand, lol... don’t make me buy a new phone NS2, but dammit probably going to happen.
-
FAC yah!
-
Yah it does seem to tip more towards iphone over audio tracks particularly because NS1 was on iPhone and good loyal supporters of version 1 would be very happy but also because it would stand waaaaay out as a dominant force on that platform. For me the main win/argument for audio tracks from a brand/market/biz/buzz…

Yah true audio tracks will get me back into NS2 in a major way. For now I just find chopping up audio files into large slices with BM3 and loading up slate is pretty much the only near practical solution. Ps... I assume track freezing will happen at the same time... yum!
-
Hmmm, had not considered that group of sufferers.
-
Fantastic!
-
Wow, this really is beautiful. For the Cascade is so seamless and perfect.
-
I do love this in Samplitude on desktop. Just loop and jam away then flip through the takes; lovely.
-
From BM3 I am just exporting banks of 32 samples for use as NS2 Slate kits. BM3 is essentially my audio editor for making samples that require pitching, stretching, adding fades, misc processing etc. Who knows, maybe NS2 will have a ‘copy/paste to slate pad’ right on the timeline but I am not really expecting that sort of…
-
I mainly just use BM3 for building kits for export to NS2. I look forward to NS2 audio tracks so I can just jam along and export larger chunks from BM3 and hopefully be able to edit them well enough in NS2.

Stereo would be nice... unless I have missed where/how to do that or messed up my audio connection...?
-
Is there no stereo recording?
-
Seems like a super useful app and I look forward to eating up my remaining 100gigs of storage! :) Would be so nice if Synthjacker had an ‘export to NS2’ option. I get too much of this in iOS lately...
-
Yah like @drez I tried a Discord for about a minute, got Slackbacks to work and ran screaming.
-
Hmmm, when I go to download the free kits I get this...
-
Totally looking forward to audio tracks. I find myself working on projects now, with BM3 running linked and then getting to a point where I tell myself I will just go back to them once audio tracks are in so I can import my BM3 bits easier. I played around importing into slate and the obsidian trick, but even just coarse…
-
I am loving these drum kits, great tuts as well!
-
Very cool!
-
MMmm! yah I have been copying pads but did not think to do kits, very cool. just found the sample drag and drop too, that helps.
-
Its pretty cool how you can pile things into a single Slate then if you want to separate it up, just save the kit, load it on a new slate track, drag over the midi and nuke the pads you don't want. Then tossing it into a new group track with different fx etc. The re-order/re-arrangey of things is rather smooth and quick.
-
Wow! Hardcore! Muchos respect! It would certainly be nice to have a big old library like that. For me I am just using Renoise as a sort of VST sound module (midi out of NS2) and when I have something going that I like I just use Renoise’s 'Render plugin to Instrument' option. It is nice being able to hear the vst, then…
-
May as well just have an export to Obsidian option eh? i mean that text looks pretty parsable.
-
Oh yes, always wanted this!
