Not sure what you’re trying to do but I’m pretty sure you don’t have it set up right. If you’re trying to adjust Filter Cutoff just assign the knob in NS2 to the Filter 1 (or 2) Cutoff #357. You don’t need to use the Mod Matrix for that.

This has been reported to the dev. Notice also on the left the LFO waveform does show and the curve adjustment for Sustain is missing on the right. Some of it comes back in full screen view like the FX parameters.
-
You would need a project to be self-contained in order to do that effectively. > @number37 said: I don’t think it’s unpredictable at all. It depends on the app. If you go into settings you can set different destinations. But I believe apps don’t always support certain locations. For instance Pure Acid is set to iCloud on…

Use the built-in FX and automate them. They are really good. There are very few things I “absolutely need” AUfx for that can’t be done with NS2 FX. Focus on what you CAN DO with NS2 because there’s SO MUCH!

I’m too old for real-time recording! 😂
-
Why not just export a MIDI file from Suggester and import into NS2?
-
ENERGY! As usual - I like it! Way to go!

It’s those kinds of things that, in some ways, are more important than “big features”. Except, of course, one certain BIG feature. 😬🤫

Very nice @dendy !

In SS AUv3 parameters, Gain is set to CC1. Since CC’s were not enabled I didn’t think they would have any effect. I decided to change it anyway. I made it CC90 which is an undefined CC in the MIDI spec. Problem solved.

I was thinking that in most cases it's the AU that is mapping Mod Wheel / CC1 to something other than the typical destination and nothing to do with NS2. That's why I wish apps followed MIDI standard for CC mapping but that got out of control long ago in iOS. I don't think a lot of devs were aware of (or cared about) the…

Zvon's kits are great. Take advantage of this great sale!

It could also be your WIFI being flaky.

I learned that, apparently, audio tracks are important...

Well said!

Yeah! <3

Back in the day I made (and sold) a bunch of music with a hardware system that had a lot less capability than NS2. Seems like people are more concerned about what they want than what they can do. That’s not fanboy-ism. It’s just fact.

😂 My ears are pretty old. Deaf in one and can’t hear out of the other! 😂

Too bad. I like it as a good basic synth with some nice sounds. It does load occasionally and then works fine but usually it just hangs on the Loading Editor screen.

When it comes to automation I’ll often do a quick, very rough automation just to get some keyframes on the track and then go in and tweak manually while playing back the section in question. I find it fun and easy to get accurate automations that way. One of my favorite things about NS2 is I can tweak just about anything…

Yeah the only other host I bother with these days is AUM. His apps work as expected there. Colin the dev got back to me and said he would contact Matt. There’s also an interface issue with his new fx apps. The problem doesn’t show up if you do a screen grab or a screen recording. I had to take a pic of it which is weird.…

I wonder if that’s the same Nigerian prince I’m dealing with? True story - about 10-15 years ago a guy came into work saying he’d won the Irish Lottery and he was going to be set for life. He laid out his plans about how he was going to pay off his mortgage and all his credit cards, buy a new car, start looking for a new…

Fair enough!

I was hoping I could get some money back on the FREE Launch Pack... :#

This has all been explained a number of times. The initial plan was to have the app release at the end of last year with audio tracks and convolution reverb in June of this year. However, issues with AU came up that were more time-consuming to fix than expected because many of the issues were with the AU's and not…
