I’m an Ableton user, own Push 1&2, Komplete Ultimate, the full Symphony Series, all the Uh-e’s, all Izotopes..., just so many plugins. On my iPad I use BM3, Auxy, and NS2. Audiobus allows I/O to get in and out of NS2. That’s it. A clear demarcation point.

No he didn’t. If you read through the announcement thread on the old forum you’ll see he made his decision on the fact that it’s a dead technology and he didn’t want to have anything to do with it. He didn’t say “the beta testers didn’t like it”. He doesn’t want to weite code for it because it sucks to work with in the DAW…

Sure I do. But that’s not what your asking. Your asking him to implement something he’s not going to do. He’s already said no. Your feature request was denied long ago by an architecture decision. It’s over. What is beating a dead horse doing to progress the platform? Why not go ask those IAA developers to move to AU…

Why not just use a different DAW then? You sound like a guy walking into an Italian restaurant asking for a hamburger. If you want Italian, then just go eat Italian. The feature isn't lacking, its an IAP to be available in the future. It was all spelled out pretty clearly at launch time. And the dev should get rich on sales of whatever he wants to sell. Yeah, if I've got a bass sound, I don't want to have to sequence a part on loop or whatever just to be able to add effects, etc to listen to something i'm in the process of creating. Sometimes the whole melody changes based on the effects I play around with. Having the keyboard available to noodle on would be a great help.

@User_Error one other thing about the snare is to create another snare pad with the same snare slightly different, maybe pitched up or down a few cents, maybe a shorter tail, or longer, etc. I hear that snare out front so having a few hits that sound a tad bit different can make a difference. Yeah, this would be very nice indeed. I don’t care if it creates individual clips in session view. It’s easy to chop up stuff if you really want to make it into clips for performing something live or whatever. On a desktop, that’s easy to do. But just getting it INTO live quickly is great. I am so bad at dub, so I really appreciate it when it’s done right, the creative use of delay is rad. But the thing I really like is the mix of the bass against the drums. It’s perfect. Dissonance...my old friend! Great use of the gating sounds as well. Those low end strings/synth stabs are huge. The swing,is just the right amount and when the “big gun” industrial drums come in unswung it gives it that “kick in the face” vibe. Really creative melody. Plus the sound choices and mix are top shelf. Great job!

Not normally my genre, but as I kept listening I just wanted to chop that up in slate and go at it! Would make a nice secondary kit against the industrial IAP slate kits. Nice way to break down the wall and create some texture!

The breakdown at ~146 to end is my fav. The mix is really good. You’ve got a lot going on and still have everything easily identifiable int he spectrum. Kudos!!
