  • About Alchemy - I will have to check, but I'm not sure it restored my purchase (I recall buying "something" a few months before Alchemy was pulled). As for Audiobus - I do recall successfully recording directly in to NS1 from apps using Audiobus. However definitely doesn't work on the iPhone4 / 1st Gen iPad - maybe a iOS10…
  • All the apps I bought were there ready for installing from the App store - including Alchemy and of course NS1.It was a surprise to find out which apps were present (and functional) on even a first gen iPad/iPhone 4. Of course if you don't already own the app then I'm not sure you can buy some now (e.g. Alchemy). Edit: a…
  • I picked up an original iPad 1 32Gb (!) a couple of years back for very little - a little slow, but runs NS1 and a whole host of great apps (Animoog, iSEM, iVoxel, Addictive, Thumbjam, Alchemy, etc.) absolutely perfectly. No Audiobus (so copy/paste audio out of one app and into another - old school!). Up to an…
  • Thanks - it was really surreal in the cities wasn't it? My problem is the pandemic wasn't kind to Sheffield city centre so the colourfull "after" shots mostly looked like the pandemic shots. Took a few goes to get something I was happy with. Need to finish the other videos from that period :-)
  • @Cray23 Yes, sorry about the length. Believe it or not I did spend some time trying to reduce it to a single CD's worth (in fact 3 tracks were removed and added to my private "2020" album of "stuff" - I have similar for each year from 2016). I eventually gave up and just released the whole lot. And yes apart from "Boris…
  • @bobheads thanks for the comments, and the subscription. You are correct about all the soundtracks = they all are my music - i just dont advertise it! Good point about what I use for each video - I'm in the midst of a on-line sort out where I closed some YouTube channels (I had 3 - now only my "named" channel remains) and…
  • Thanks for the nice comments! Yes he (called Caspian by the way) is a very happy dog and loves his walks. Its my job to take him out first thing - something I enjoy whatever the weather. @Trigger_the_Monkey - that was a very late addition - the actual source videos always had me turning to film the trees in blossom - but…
  • Well - all finished! The full version (for download and streaming in the usual fashion) is on Bandcamp. The last couple of tracks are also NS1 as it happens. https://acollectionofnotes.bandcamp.com/album/adventus-free-download
  • @slaphappy: that's a good question. All these are 'historic' tracks made pre NS2. They are also in date order (i.e. track 1 is 2015 and track 23 is 2019 - track 24 is an older one and as it happens a NS1 one). I have to confess that I haven't really clicked with NS2 - I stayed with NS1 on my iPad until January-ish, and…
  • I'm still plugging away with this. As it happens today's is also a NS1 track. This time from the flight back from Lisbon last year. https://soundcloud.com/acollectionofnotes/on-arrival-flight-to-manchester-lisbon-extract Jan
  • @stiksi: well technically these 2 posted (and the next few) are all "pre Tumour" when things were easier and better. Anything after February 2018 is when things got a lot harder. And yes at first being creative was just too hard, but once we got used to the new "normal" finding creative things were a bit of an outlet. I…
  • Thank you. It's been a difficult year or so for us all. My daughter has completed her treatments and has returned to Uni for her final year (doing it over 2 years). There are loads of amazing groups and charities that have supported her (and us) - but it's still really tough.
  • And since day 2 is also a NS1 track I shall post it here as well (from memory I think on 1 or 2 more were done in NS1 - the rest are AUM based).
